Kall Editor: a private, kosher video editor that runs on your phone
Kall Editor is a free online video editor that runs in your browser. Trim, split, add Hebrew text, stickers and transitions, and export an MP4, without uploading anything.
Most "free" online video editors want you to upload your clips, make an account, and sit through things you'd rather the kids not see. Kall Editor takes a different road: everything runs on your own device, in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
What it does
- Import clips and photos from your phone or computer (several at once).
- Trim the start and end, split a clip in two, reorder on the timeline.
- Text in English, Hebrew or Yiddish, with right-to-left handled correctly.
- Stickers and transitions – clean line art, no people.
- Export as an H.264 MP4 that plays anywhere (WhatsApp, a chasuna slideshow, a school project).
- Reload-safe – your project is kept on the device, so closing the tab does not lose your work.
How to use it
- Open editor.kallin1.com on your phone, tablet or computer.
- Tap Import and pick your clips.
- Drag the ends of a clip to trim it; tap Split at the playhead to cut it.
- Tap Text to add a title or a caption. Switch to Hebrew with your keyboard; the editor flips the direction for you.
- Tap Export, choose the size, and save the MP4.
Who it is for
- A father putting together the bar mitzvah slideshow.
- A rebbi cutting a shiur into shorter pieces for the class.
- A kid making a Purim video for the family group.
- Anyone who needs a video editor that works with a filter and does not phone home.
Privacy, in one line
Your videos never leave the device. There is no server to upload to, which is also why it works on a plane or in a bungalow with no reception.
